JitsLab is a web application that allows BJJ (martial arts) practitioners to upload videos of matches or sparring which the user can tag with their techniques and get scoring support. JitsLab takes this data and provides reports on the strengths and weaknesses of the users’ game. It also provides coaching on the next steps for progress.
I partnered with Jitslab during its initial offering and startup, tasked with taking the basic interface of the app and making layout and user flow recommendations. Responsible for the visual layer, I designed the user profile, reports function, and video tagging interfaces. I also designed the other non-signed-in pages.
