Pearson’s marketing/e-commerce website needed a facelift to properly align itself to other essential Pearson properties during a brand refresh.
I translated business objectives into design principles focusing on brand alignment as well as introducing new IA to the e-com site. I was responsible for creative direction on the project and guiding our design partners towards our core goals.
Multiple design iterations were made to ensure we thoroughly looked at visual possibilities and tone. Once the design was final I took the design reigns focusing on the experiences for multiple page types (subject disciplines, product, and shopping/checkout ). I also lead the front-end development side of the project providing all page templates HTML/CSS to the dev team for integration.
My time with Pearson also saw me design and develop many marketing microsites for both product and fellowship on educational topics such as ESL, RTI, 21st-century learners, and understanding by design.
